I CAN Do That, Thanks

The greatest pleasure in life is doing something someone told you you cannot do.

I don’t mean this as in someone tells you not to jump of a bride and you do it, but as in someone says you can’t be a doctor, then you succeed.
I have a great example of this.
When my sister went to see the careers ‘advisor’ a while back, she told the careers advisor she wanted to do medicine and become a doctor, like our father. The ‘advisor’ then laughed. laughed proceeding to say how she could never be a doctor, she’s not smart enough.
What did my sister do?
Worked.
And worked.
And worked.
Until she had gotten the grades and an offer from a university for medicine.
She continued to work hard in university and passed with flying colours. She graduated two summers ago and loves her job.
She is now doing her f2 (second year as a junior doctor after 5 years of university)
Cheers, careers advisor.
WEY! in your face
